Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator

Our client is a key player in the food industry (FMCG). Quality and Customer satisfaction are 2 crucial pillars within their organization.


The Customer service/logistics coordinator is responsible for:

  • Gathering clients forecast
  • Integrate customers' orders and forecasts on time in the ERP and Demand Dashboards
  • Check the accuracy of customer orders
  • Detailed analyses based on client’s forecast
  • Ensuring stock availability (linked with production planning) and stock allocation (linked with our logistics partners) in order to achieve the best customer service
  • Good collaboration with our customers (anticipation of missing stock, follow-up of complaints, management of punctual requests, offer solutions in case of unplanned needs, etc...)
  • Update key indicators for the Demand Planning team
  • Investigate reasons for undelivered command lines and offer improvements
  • Control and check on stock’s accuracy at our logistics service providers

He/she will also, depending on the needs within the department, be able to:

  • Assuring the update of the container’s planning along with our logistics providers based on open orders in the system
  • Continuous improvement on processes & systems
  • Transmit the Packing List to customers as soon as the order is ready to be dispatched by our logistics provider
  • Provide the necessary documents to customs officers
  • Convey invoices to customers as soon as the order is closed
  • Organizing punctual air transport
  • Offer continuous improvement of processes and systems

  • Forecast accuracy
  • Warehousing cost tracker


  • Bachelor's degree with experience in logistics and/or customer service
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and the office pack (Excel++).
  • English, French and/or Dutch.
  • Analytical profile not afraid of detail but also operational to find solutions to problems
  • Organized and structured
  • Able to set and manage priorities
  • Pragmatic, team-oriented and solution-oriented
  • Knowledge of the production environment and S&OP processes is an asset
  • Knowledge of seasonal products is an asset
